Extend expired Kela card

I moved to Finland a couple of years ago from the UK and my job contract was originally for 2 years. My Kela card is due to expire at the end of this job contract, but now I have a new contract for a further 3 years. How do I extend the validity of my card? Thanks

Hi mbri!

To extend the validity of your Kela card, you can send us a new Kela card application. You can sent it through Omakela-service, via mail (Kela, PL 78, 00381 HELSINKI) or you can hand it at any Kela customer service points. Attach also a copy of your new employment contract.
